Finnish Transport Agency has post an open invitation to tender for
MBES hydrographic Surveys in the Baltic Sea, Bothnian sea and
in the Bay of Bothnia (BSBB 2012).

- The hydrographic survey areas are located in the Finnish waters, as discribed in the invitation to tender and attachments;
- Areas consist of several thousands of km² and the timespan is from 2012 to summer of 2013;
- At least one contract with one or several service providers will be made;
- Swedish Maritime Administration will also post an invitation to tender on the Swedish waters;
- Despite of the text in chapter 2.2.8 it is not mandatory to quote on all of the objects, but it is mandatory to give a price to each tendered object separately.
 

Premiminary timetable:

30 Jan 2012 Invitation to tender was published at HILMA,
in TED on 1 Feb 2012 (2012/S 21-034393);
27 Feb 2012 at 14.00 Quotations shall be filed in;
Mar 2012 Study of the received quotations;
Mar-Apr 2012 Contracts will be signed based on the winning tender(s);
