- Vääksy and Kalkkinen
- Lempäälä and Valkeakoski
On 13 May 2011 at 9.00 the navigation season starts on the following canals:
- Vaajakoski, Kuhankoski, Kuusaa, Kapeenkoski and Paatela
- Neituri, Kiesimä, Kerkonkoski and Kolu
- Joensuu, Kuurna and Kaltimo
- Ahkiolahti and Nerkoo
- Pilppa, Vihovuonne, Kerma and Karvio
- Murole and Herraskoski
On 20 May 2011 at 9.00 the navigation season starts on the following canals:
- Varistaipale and Taivallahti
- Karjalankoski, Juankoski and Lastukoski
The Finnish Transport Agency publishes the start date of the navigation season one day in advance and the end date of the navigation season seven days in advance, as laid down in the Waterways Act and the decree on traffic regulations for canals and opening bridges.
