On the road:

When you call the Road User Line 0200 2100, the contractor in charge of the maintenance of the road will be directly notified of the problem. If necessary, the information will also be forwarded to other relevant authorities. Hazards clearly obstructive to traffic will be immediately attended to.

In the waterways:

Report any defective aid to navigation by calling 0800-181818, or make an online notification.

In the railway network or in the platform area:

Railway maintenance is monitored by the rail infrastructure managers. Contact information.

Procurement of maintenance services

The Finnish Transport Agency determines the service levels of Finnish traffic lanes. Routes with heavy traffic and commercially significant routes are kept open to traffic at almost all times. Management and maintenance services are outsourced to specialised service providers.
